History

Pentecost falls in late May or early June and is often one of the first truly warm weekends. Many Norwegians spend the Whitsun weekend at the cabin, on boat trips, or enjoying outdoor activities. Festivals and events are held around the country. For many, Pentecost marks the start of summer.
